Painting with Cows (just like Swimming with Dolphins)

I was all set up and ready to paint the quaint little cottage, when this heard of cows came, sniffed at my painting supplies, and laid down in the middle of my scene. They absolutely wanted to be in the painting, there was no persuading them to move. They stayed for a couple of hours, very peaceful, very nice and comfortable. I don't think I can eat beef anymore (hello vegans).😉

Before and After

When I first started at the Swedish Academy of Realist Art (SARA), we had to draw a baseline cast in three hours. This was about a year ago.

Last week (April 2017) it was time to draw a test cast. I had one week to complete the cast (about 20 hours). I decided I would take the same cast and set it up at the same pose, and this is the result.
