Starting to go outsides and paint. The trees are still bare, and it is still cold (< 10 C). This is a little church 200 m from out place. A pretty little thing.

A Man supporting a Woman
The less traditional approach of a man's support of a woman.
We had acrobats as models in our life drawing session. These were amazing people. This pose was 20 min. long. For 20 min. the man stood motionless with the woman on his shoulders.

Red Reading Chairs
The cozy reading corner at my friends old house in Lund. A beautiful sun-filled room where books are read, discoveries made, and the mind entertained.

Sheep blending into the landscape
What struck me on this image, a photo I took near Kivik on the Baltic coast, is that the sheep blend perfectly into the landscape. There are centuries of fine tuning evolution at work, until everything is just right. Like the ultimate craftsman, never ceasing to refine his craft.
I only wish we could work with this intensity, consistency, and endurance at our craft.

What ever happened to hammer and nails?
This week's still life included a trip to the basement looking for something to paint. And we found a bunch of old keys.
Beware of the idle artist, lock you basement door.
